My Leadership Strengths

I am a compassionate and highly motivated person, who is organized, with the ability to think creatively and envision big picture items. I also have the ability to break goals down into short term achievable steps so that larger projects can be accomplished efficiently. I do believe that my skill set is unique because most people have the ability to get tasks done quickly, or to think about the big picture, but not necessarily to do both. I have experience as a national leader in arts administration, which has prepared me to think about long-term vision and big picture collaborations, plus find ways to get day to day tasks done more efficiently, all while keeping employee satisfaction and job performance as a high priority. With my additional training to become a school administrator in the public school sector, I can apply my extensive administrative experience, and public school teaching experience, to the public school administrator responsibilities and be highly effective in a different context.
