Advocacy for the arts can be achieved in many ways. From public performances to presentations, membership and service on local, regional and national arts organizations, to leadership workshops; all of the above serve to broaden and enhance education in the arts, particularly the teaching that happens in your organization. Advocacy can also be achieved by contacting state arts agencies, local and regional politicians, in-district leaders, and community leaders.
